BATTLE CRUSH

About Battle Crush

Battle Crush is a free match-3 battle game built around a simple idea: matching tiles should feel like firing a weapon, not like tidying a shelf.

The main menu: pick a mode and jump straight in. No account needed to play.

The game

Every tile on the board is a weapon — a rifle, a blade, a grenade, a skull, a power cell. Swap two neighbours to line three of them up and the whole match becomes a volley fired at the opponent standing across from you. Cascades hit harder, specials hit harder still, and a rainbow bomb can turn a losing board into a winning one in a single move.

The campaign runs across five maps and forty levels, each map noticeably meaner than the last. Three lives, an extra life every three levels, and a star rating for every win based on how few moves you needed. Free Play strips the lives away and leaves you alone with the score.

How to play it

Battle Crush runs in any modern browser, on a phone, a tablet or a desktop, with no download and no account required. Everything in the game — every level, both modes, the coin store — is open to you the moment the page loads.

If you would like to see your name on the leaderboard, create an account and your best run is posted automatically. That is the only thing an account is needed for.

How it is made

Battle Crush is an independent project. The board, the match-3 engine, the battle animation and the sound design were all built in-house, and the artwork is commissioned for the game.

It is supported by advertising and by optional coin packs that buy boosters. You never have to buy anything to finish the campaign — every booster can also be earned by playing.
