BATTLE CRUSH

Battle Crush — Frequently Asked Questions

The questions players ask most, answered. If yours is not here, the contact form will reach us.

Is Battle Crush free to play?

Yes. Every level, both game modes and the coin store are free. The game is supported by advertising and by optional coin packs, and nothing in the campaign requires a purchase.

Do I need an account to play?

No. You can play the entire game — Hero Mode, Free Play, the coin store — without signing in. An account is only needed to appear on the leaderboard and to keep your purchases tied to you across devices.

How do I make my attacks hit harder?

Match more tiles at once. A line of four or five does more damage than a line of three, and every cascade in a chain multiplies both the damage and the score. Building a special tile and setting it off inside a cascade is the biggest hit in the game.

What does a rainbow bomb do?

Swap a rainbow bomb with any ordinary tile and it clears every tile of that colour on the board at once. Swap two rainbow bombs together and the entire board clears.

How do I earn coins?

Coins are paid out for every clear, for every star you earn on a level, and for combos that chain together. There is also a free coin drop in the store once a day, and coin packs if you would rather not wait.

How do I get three stars on a level?

By winning in few moves. Each level has a par move count — finish at or under par for three stars, up to one and a half times par for two, and anything longer earns one. Cascades are the fastest way to beat par.

What happens when I run out of lives?

The run ends and you start again from the map screen. You begin Hero Mode with three lives, lose one each time your health bar empties, and earn an extra life every three levels you clear.

I finished a map — what now?

The game rolls you straight into the next map, keeping your score and your lives. Only the fifth map ends the run.

Does Battle Crush work offline?

No — it needs an internet connection, because the game is played in your browser and the leaderboard lives online.

I cleared my browser data and lost my progress.

Level progress, stars, your coin balance and your boosters are stored in your browser, so clearing site data removes them. Signing in keeps your leaderboard score on our side, but the campaign progress itself lives on your device.

How do I report a bug?

Use the contact form and describe what happened and what you expected. A screenshot helps a lot.

Can I get a refund on a coin pack?

Coin packs are bought through our payment provider. If something went wrong with a purchase, contact us through the form with the email address you used and we will sort it out.
