Coins, boosters and a store worth walking into

The daily earnings cap is gone, the store is open, and every booster in it can also be earned by playing. Nothing in the campaign costs money.

Coins arrive from three places: every match you clear, every star you earn on a level, and every combo that chains together. Big cascades pay noticeably better than tidy single matches, which is a nice way of saying the game rewards the way you already want to play.

The store is now open. There is a free coin drop once a day, boosters you can buy with coins you earned, and coin packs if you would rather not wait. We want to be straight about the last one: coin packs are a shortcut, not a requirement. Every booster on that shelf can also be bought with coins from normal play, and nothing in the forty-level campaign needs a purchase to finish.

The daily earnings cap has been removed entirely. It used to stop you banking coins past a certain point in a day, which was there to stop people farming but mostly just punished anyone having a good session. You can earn as much as you can earn now.

What does still exist is a much gentler limit on the very top end, and it works on the server rather than in your browser. It is there so that a script cannot sit on the game and fill a wallet overnight, not to slow down a person playing. If you are playing normally you will never see it.

The store also got a proper daily claim card, so the free drop is one tap instead of something you have to remember to go looking for.
