Your progress now follows you from device to device

This is the least flashy update on this page and probably the most important one. Until now, everything you earned lived in your browser. Clear your site data, switch phones, or open the game in a different browser, and a hundred levels of work simply was not there any more. People lost real progress that way and told us about it, and they were right to be annoyed.

Now, signing in keeps your save on your account. Your level stars, your coin balance, your boosters and your rank all come back the moment you sign in, on any device, forever. Sign in on your phone and your desktop and you are the same player on both.

Nothing about guest play has changed. You can still play the entire campaign, Survival, the store and multiplayer without ever making an account — we are not going to put a wall in front of a match-3 game. If you have been playing as a guest and you have earned something worth keeping, the game now shows you exactly what you banked and offers to make it permanent. Your guest coins and experience carry over when you sign up, so you are never choosing between keeping your progress and starting clean.

Signing in is also what puts your name on the leaderboard. One row per player, holding your best single run, updated automatically. There is nothing to submit and no button to press.
